About Me
I am an honors graduate from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) 1000-hour certificate program, class of 2003.
I also received a certificate in Zen Shiatsu in 2006 from BCMT. I have been nationally certified in Therapeutic Massage and
Bodywork since 2003.
I am a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
My work encompasses a wide spectrum of approaches, from soft tissue manipulation and deep tissue techniques to visualization
and stretching.
I have training in Orthopedic/Sports Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Zen Shiatsu,
Swedish Massage,
as well as continuing education credits in Prenatal/Postpartum Massage from BCMT and Craniosacral Therapy from the Upledger
Institute.
My previous career as a pastry chef/baker motivated me to experience first-hand how effective regular massage could be.
Massage allowed me continue working after incurring numbness and weakness in my hands and arms, and helped restore me to health.
I enjoy being outdoors and am a recreational climber, runner, and telemark skier.
